Category Print, Publication, Perfect-BoundThis book was one of the largest projects I’ve individually worked on. This piece
required equal parts research and design, beginning with three weeks of critical
analysis of one of my industry idols, Lorraine Wild. I gathered information about
her career which later became the content for my print publication. This anthological approach allowed me to create a collection of her work that inspired me while
also showcasing the research I had done about her career in a chronological way.
Next, I explored color and typographic play in ways that pushed me to try new
techniques. After many renditions and prototypes, I finalized the print into a
perfect-bound book.
This process was one of the most hands-on experiences I’ve
had with learning publication design and print nuance.
